Bartender
We are a family-owned and operated restaurant and catering group based in South San Francisco, looking for a dynamic and engaging bartender to help us deliver consistently excellent service and drinks and guide the bar program at our full service restaurant, developing new cocktails as needed and providing great service to our guests and supporting other team members. Responsibilities
Develop and manage a full bar program, from preparing classic cocktails to developing specialty cocktails and creating new drinks to update the menu seasonally
Greet and serve customers in a professional and timely manner
Complete all assigned and necessary tasks to prepare bar and service station, including preparing all drink garnishes and stocking any necessary supplies
Prepare beverage orders (alcoholic and non) for guests and service team
Know the full menu, being able to answer guest questions and verbally sell menu items including specials or promotions
Maintain service areas such as dining room, bar and service stations in a clean and orderly fashion during the entire shift, keeping surfaces clean, sanitizing regularly, disposing of debris and bottles, and washing glasses behind the bar as needed.
Help manage inventory, restocking any bar items as needed from glassware to beverages and other supplies and alerting Chef or Manager for any items that need to be ordered
Qualifications
Two years bartending experience a plus
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task
Amazing customer service skills and desire to deliver genuine hospitality
Takes ownership of their tasks and displays initiative
